Blu Ray – Can You Play Regular Dvd On A Blu Ray Player?

Also, can you play BLU RAY dvd’s on a regular DVD player? Is it worth it for me to buy a BLU RAY player? It’s $300 here and that is steep! Please help!

Sure, you can play regular dvd’s on a Blu Ray player but you CAN’T play Blu Ray discs on a regular player.
If you have a High Definition TV then it is definitely worth the investment. If you do not then it is totally worthless.
By the way, to the comment above, the Blu Ray discs are NOT smaller.

yes it will. its will upscale normal dvd’s to close to HD quality. why have a HD tv put nothing Hd connected to it.

i dont think so… the blue ray disks are smaller than a regular dvd. so i would have to say no
