Lite-on has a Blu-Ray player only that has a USB output .
Would the 360 reject the player if connected to the USB input ?

Well, you could probably get the 360 to recognize the drive for DVDs, it wouldn’t work for blu-ray discs. The 360 would need updated software to know what to do with the blu-ray disc.
Maybe someone will figure out a hack to basically use the HD-DVD bits to create such a thing but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
I dont think the 360 is compatible with a Blue-Ray drive
