by admin on January 7, 2010

Keep in mind that my current dvd player is brand new and the picture quality is great. Blu ray I have heard has had sharper picture quality? Is that the only reason to get one?

A Blue-Ray player will upscale your picture and sound to an amazingly crisp 1080p. You can definitely tell the difference. A Blue-Ray player will even make your regular dvd’s look better. If you like movies and have the money, I would completely recommend one.

Yes, that’s pretty much the reason to get one – better picture. The sound is also better, but the picture is where you will see most of the difference.
