i actually have the BD 30 and it has a virtualy flawless picture, its amazing. but if you have a home theater system you’ll need to buy a really good av reciever(they are very expensive )becausee BD 30 doesn’t support high-def audio. the audio is still good but it could be better. its also about 500 bucks but its worth the money
PS3!!!!!!!!!! Because for roughly the same price (if not cheaper) you can do tons of more stuff like play games, stream videos from your computer to your ps3, watch dvd’s, the picture is very good for blu ray movies too. Plus the free online gaming is an awesome feature that kicks the competition in the bollocks. Hope you choose the 3.
The best blu-ray player on the market right now for use and function is clearly and hands down, the PS3 because you not only have a higher end blu-ray player, but a gaming system as well.

Well the panosonic is perposelly based on blu-ray but if yo want some games to play that have really good graphics witha bluray player then go for the ps3. but if you dont stick with the bluray player
Another aspect to go with the PS3 is that every few weeks updates will be comignn out for it, you go with a stand alone player, it will not have updates to keep the blue ray player up to date… PS3 has upconversion now(a dl feature) and last week just got BDLive2.0 (dl blue ray from internet)… more is to come!
